Identity and Access Management Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for directory, authentication, and provisioning services, including Active Directory, Entra.ID and related complex services.
  • Serve as a lead or key resource on Active Directory or Entra.ID related projects
  • Perform tasks related to end user access, including user access provisioning, de -provisioning, and access modifications in various systems and applications
  • Assist with the evaluation, testing, deployment, and management of tools supporting IAM related activities
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of role based access controls (RBAC)
  • Analyze user access roles and security settings to independently assess compliance with defined standards
  • Conduct user access recertifications consistent with established processes
  • Prepare or obtain user and system access reports from trusted sources
  • Review and maintain department documentation to ensure it reflects current processes and procedures
  • Assist with the development of Active Directory and Entra.ID standards and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other IT teams to configure Active Directory, Entra.iD and related tools and systems
  • Administer Active Directory and Entra.ID systems as needed
  • Assist with the development and reporting of access related metrics
  • Serve as a business unit resource for projects and compliance with established processes
  • Remediate audit, assessment, and examination findings and control gaps
  • 2nd level support in the analysis of incidents
  • Continuous improvement of the Integrity and reliability.
  • Preparation of strategic decisions
  • Plan, design, build and maintain Active Directory and Entra.ID to integrate with B.Braun landscape.
  • Plan and support daily administrative tasks including performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, provision of recommended solutions, proactive error prevention, installing upgrades, etc
  • Further development of the technical concept of the authentication and authorization processes.

 

Professional competencies:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Engineering or equivalent job experience.
  • Practical Experience with and Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra.ID.
  • In-depth Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and LDAP Services.
  • Good understanding of Group Policy Management and configuration.
  • Good understanding of Authentication Method in Active Directory (Kerberos) and Entra.ID (SAML/OIDC)
  • In-depth knowledge Experience with Windows
  • Experience with cloud security architecture and models
  • Knowledge in a scripting/programming language such as Powershell
  • Advance d English skills

  • Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn attitude is required
  • Ability to work independently in a multi -task environment in a global team
