Are you a commercially minded marketing professional ready to take full strategic ownership of a premium medical device portfolio?

 

We are seeking a high-calibre, data-driven Product Manager to spearhead the market expansion and brand optimization of our Operating Room Supply (ORS) and Interventional Therapies (IVT) portfolios across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

 

Reporting to Senior Marketing Manager – Surgical, this role is explicitly designed for a marketer who thrives on market segmentation, campaign metrics, and lifecycle management. You will turn complex clinical needs into sophisticated commercial strategies, driving profitable sales growth and maximizing market share for a global healthcare leader

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

 

In this role, you will be the commercial architect of your portfolios, managing everything from localised tactical campaigns to high-level global brand alignment.

 

  • Strategic Business Planning: Develop, implement, and run end-to-end marketing and business plans that align portfolio growth with the company’s long-term commercial milestones.
  • Market Segmentation & Targeting: Analyse customer behaviour and hospital buying centres to effectively segment the ANZ healthcare market and build highly tailored value propositions.
  • Campaign & ROI Management: Oversee the lifecycle of promotional activities, design impactful multi-channel campaigns, track performance metrics, and make agile, data-driven adjustments.
  • Financial Accountability: Take ownership of financial mechanisms including product forecasting, demand planning, and strict expense budget management to maximize campaign ROI.
  • Stakeholder & Network Amplification: Build influential relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical professionals, and cross-functional teams to amplify product positioning and market presence.
  • Global Brand Collaboration: Actively participate in regional and global marketing forums to integrate international brand strategies with local market nuances

 

 

About You

 

 

To be successful in this role, your background will include:

 

  • Several years of dedicated product management and sales experience within a regulated medical device or clinical environment.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with a proven track record of translating market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends into actionable growth strategies.
  • A strong foundational understanding of the surgical environment (OR/ED/Cath Lab), tissue closure modalities, or wound management to back up your marketing campaigns with clinical credibility.
  • Exceptional planning and execution skills to manage multiple product lines, regulatory compliance timelines (TGA/CE), and cross-departmental projects simultaneously.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related commercial discipline is highly desirable.
