We are looking for a professional in EXIM function, with 10 + yrs experience in MedTech & Pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible to lead the Imports & Exports transactions, ensuring compliance with government regulations, optimize Logistics function & maintain effective communication with stakeholders to support business objectives as per B. Braun standards.

        Role:

  • Responsible for driving the EXIM function for all three entities of B. Braun India.
  • Leading team to oversee smooth Imports & Export transactions for Trading operations for Finished goods as well as manufacturing units for Raw materials & export of Finished goods.
  • Working in close collaboration with Regional & Global counterparts across Malaysia, Germany, Spain for all incoming shipments via Sea & Air
  • Co-ordination in Local Planning, Manufacturing , Procurement, Logistics & Regulatory Teams
  • Support in transition of Capital goods & samples for Marketing purpose
  • Keeping a regular update on Government Policies & notifications, thus ensure compliance to the same
  • Resolution / response to query / notification received from Custom’s / DGFT
  • Identification & classification of Materials under applicable HSN codes to ensure compliance on Duty payment.
  • Collaboration with CHA’s , consultants, shipping lines & Industry experts on key matters
  • Availing existing benefits & developing strong saving pipeline under various schemes / policies like Duty drawback, Advance License, RoDTEP, EPCG, EOU’s, Duty scripts & various FTA’s.
  • Drive various self-identified & management projects along with cross functional teams.

 

Skills Required:

  • Technical Knowledge of Indian Customs Act & Various FTA’s, Indepth knowledge of International trade laws, customs processes & documentation
  • Good Knowledge of Excel & PPT, Working knowledge of SAP
  • Good Command over English

 

Educational Qualification:

Graduate with MBA/ PGD/ Certification in EXIM
