JD: Clinical Application Specialist: HD and Acute

As a Clinical Application Specialist (Dialysis) with us in B. Braun, you will play a vital role in empowering healthcare professionals through expert training, clinical consultation, and hands-on support. You’ll collaborate closely with hospitals and dialysis centres to ensure optimal product usage, enhance patient safety, and drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes—all while being a trusted partner in advancing renal care.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions and one-on-one meetings to educate healthcare professionals and patients on dialysis products and their clinical applications.
  • Conduct on-site hands-on training for ICU and Dialysis staff on the setup, operation, and alarm management of HD/CRRT machines.
  • Create and distribute customized educational tools, including booklets, videos, and guides, tailored to customer needs and clinical settings.
  • Drive lead generation, manage sales negotiations, and close deals as needed to support business growth.
  • Offer 24/7 clinical and application support in hospitals and dialysis centres, ensuring safe and effective product usage.
  • Share insights from educational programs with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to enhance product development and customer engagement.
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce/Alexis/Showpad to plan, track, and report on clinical activities, competitor insights, and market trends.
  • Advise on product utilization, safety improvements, and standardization of clinical procedures to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales/service team to perform product demonstrations for potential/existing clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and medical team to work closely with important KOLs and to prepare clinical messaging.
  • Internal training to sales and service team on HD/CRRT products and therapy.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dialysis Technology, nursing, or related.
  • Minimum 3 -8 years' experience in Haemodialysis and CRRT machine handling.
  • Possess experience in teaching and clinical training for educational purposes.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and computer literacy (especially in MS Office and excel).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
