We are looking for a highly analytical Working Student to help bridge the gap between advanced robotic capabilities and real-world medical/industrial manufacturing requirements. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating external Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and establishing robust safety gates to ensure new technologies meet strict business and compliance outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benchmarking & Evaluation: Design and execute benchmarking protocols for incoming robotic hardware and software solutions to measure performance, reliability, and business value.
  • Safety Gate Development: Assist in defining and implementing safety gates for external PoCs, ensuring all deployments adhere to internal safety standards and risk assessment frameworks prior to integration.
  • Business Outcome Tracking: Work closely with the engineering and management teams to align technical KPIs with operational goals and manufacturing requirements.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, safety evaluations, and vendor performance for internal reviews. 

 

Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in both the technical and business sides of automation.
  • Basic understanding of robotic safety standards, risk assessment methodologies, or post-deployment monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills in English or German to interface effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive, structured working style with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
