In this position, you will contribute to the design of outstanding experiences for digital products — such as connected medical devices, digital health platforms, and data-driven applications — from initial research to implementation. You will work in an agile environment with UX researchers, usability engineers, developers, software architects, and product owners. You will also act as a mentor to junior designers to promote a culture of growth and learning. At the same time, you will have an impact on the global UX/UI Competence Center by B. Braun — a cross-divisional initiative that connects design professionals worldwide, fostering knowledge exchange, shared standards, and collaborative innovation in user experience and interface design.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- You analyze user needs, define user flows, and structure information architectures to optimize the experience
- You develop screen flows and interactive prototypes following Human-Centered Design principles
- You create high-fidelity, implementation-ready UI designs, leveraging our Design System for responsive applications
- You conduct and document user research, using qualitative and quantitative methods to inform design decisions
- You plan and execute usability testing, both remote and on-site, to validate designs
- You collaborate closely with frontend developers to bring interfaces to life with seamless interactions
- You maintain and evolve our Design System, ensuring consistency across applications
Professional competencies
- Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Psychology, Human-Computer-Interaction or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience as UX/UI Designer (f/m/d) in the pharmaceutical, MedTech, Automotive or Finance industry
- Hands-on experience with tools like Figma, and paper prototyping for rapid ideation
- Proficiency in Lean UX, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe)
- Experience in UX Writing, UX Engineering, or UX Research is a plus
- Very good spoken and written English skills, knowledge of German is a bonus
