B. Braun is a leading supplier of automated infusion systems that support a wide range of clinical therapies. The product segment is one of four strategic growth areas of B. Braun’s Hospital Care division. An important growth driver is the transformation of the established product business into an ecosystem-based solutions business, including infusion devices, disposables, as well as digital applications and services. To support the implementation of this strategy, we are seeking a Teamlead Test Lab (m/f/d) for the Infusion Therapy Ecosystem, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of the Center of Excellence Automated Infusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of test engineers
- Foster a collaborative and empowering team culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation
- Promote strong team and leadership values across the organization
- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and robust ecosystem test infrastructure
- Define and execute a comprehensive test strategy for the verification and validation of cross-system processes, workflows, and use cases
- Ensure alignment with stakeholders across product lines and systems
- Act as a key interface between internal and external stakeholders, including 3rd party system owners
- Drive effective communication and networking across departments and with external partners
- Apply a structured working approach to test planning, execution, and documentation
- Demonstrate a high degree of independent working in managing complex test scenarios and decision-making processes
- Implement advanced methods for test automation to increase efficiency and coverage
- Define and integrate the ecosystem Verification & Validation data model into the overall PLM data management system
- Plan and execute test campaigns, including those supporting product release processes
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of software anomalies in cross-system environments
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex test environments
- Strong background in testing networked and cloud-connected devices, ideally in the Medical Devices or Healthcare IT domain
- In-depth knowledge of test automation methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with PLM systems and data integration strategies
- Experience with regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or FDA guidelines is a plus
