Our Group Human Resources department is looking for a full-time Senior Manager (f/m/d) Global Mobility to start as soon as possible. The position is based in Melsungen.
As Senior Global Mobility Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of all international employee assignments and mobility programs.
Duties & responsibilities:
- You design, create, implement and refine Group-wide assignment standards and processes, taking labor market trends, benchmarks, and the company’s strategic goals and culture into account
- You develop strategic concepts to tightly integrate these international employee assignments with other HR management processes, including talent management.
- Together with the business units, you design internal communication strategies to raise awareness of and promote the opportunities for international employee assignments.
- To ensure efficient assignment processes, you identify and implement digital solutions that streamline internal workflows and contribute to transparency.
- Your core responsibilities include managing short-, mid-, and long-term assignments—including drafting assignment contracts and compensation packages—as well as advising and supporting assignees on all relevant issues.
- You advise executives and HR departments at an international level on all matters and decisions involved in international assignments and other cross-border employment arrangements
- Additionally, you assisting them in selecting the appropriate options based on requirements and costs.
- Ensuring that the Group policy governing international employee assignments is up-to-date and aligned with the company’s requirements is also part of your responsibilities.
- You assume the technical and operational leadership of the Global Mobility Team; disciplinary management responsibility of a team is a potential future role for you.
- You work closely with national and international service providers and the relevant colleagues from HR and the departments working with these assignments.
Professional Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in (international) business administration or economics, preferably with a major in human resources.
- You already have many years of professional experience in international HR, particularly as an HR Business Partner, at a globally operating company with a matrix organization.
- You have several years of experience in global mobility management and are well-versed in cross-border employment structures and international HR practices.
- You have managed global projects and are skilled at addressing complex issues within interdisciplinary teams.
- You are familiar with the regulations governing labor, tax, and social security law
- You are proficient in using SAP HCM / SuccessFactors as well as standard Microsoft Office/365 systems and applications.
- You are interested in a varied and international scope of responsibilities and are also familiar with fundamental HR processes (e.g., talent & performance management).
- Your excellent English skills (both spoken and written) enable you to communicate effortlessly with international colleagues.
