For our Group Internal Audit department, we are looking for a Senior Manager (f/m/d) Audit Analytics to join us as soon as possible.

In this highly responsible role, you will actively shape the future of data-driven internal auditing. You will assume functional responsibility for key digital processes within Internal Audit and drive the further development of Audit Analytics, Data Analytics, and AI applications in the audit environment. By doing so, you will make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development of risk management, control, and governance processes across the Group.

You will be part of an international team of 13 Internal Auditors based in Melsungen, Germany, and Penang, Malaysia.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a forward-looking Audit Analytics strategy and sustainably advance the data-driven transformation of the Internal Audit function
• Evaluate, select, and implement suitable data analytics, artificial intelligence, and audit tools as well as platforms for use within audit activities
• Define standards, best practices, and methodologies for Audit Analytics and continuously enhance the corresponding frameworks
• Identify new use cases for data analytics and artificial intelligence within the audit environment and promote their successful integration into existing audit processes
• Independently plan, prepare, and conduct audit projects, and prepare audience-specific audit reports and follow-up assessments in accordance with the audit plan or special assignments
• Assume functional leadership for audit projects by coordinating audit teams and ensuring the effective use of available resources
• Analyze business processes, risks, and internal control systems using data-driven audit approaches and derive well-founded recommendations for improvement
• Present audit results and recommendations for improvement proposals convincingly to executives and relevant stakeholders at management level
• Contribute to the continuous development of methodologies, processes, and digital auditing approaches within the Internal Audit function

Professional Qualifications:

• Successfully completed a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or a comparable role with a focus on IT Audit, Data Analytics, or Audit Analytics
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Ideally, a professional certification in Internal Audit or IT, such as CIA, CISA, or a comparable qualification
• Additional foreign language skills are considered an advantage

• Confident and professional interaction in an international environment, with the ability to communicate effectively at management level
• Ability to present complex topics in a structured, concise, and understandable manner, both in audit reports and during presentations of audit findings
• Strong analytical thinking, initiative, and a high level of solution orientation
