The “Smart Manufacturing - Deployment and Training” department plays a key role in this. Your task as a Project Manager is to lead global digitization projects in the production area, focusing on MES function development and MES rollouts at our worldwide production sites. You will be responsible for achieving project goals in terms of quality, costs, deadlines, resources, and functions. Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning the technical implementation of process solutions in MES in collaboration with the Smart Manufacturing Template department and the supplier Critical Manufacturing

  • Describing and prioritizing requirements and acceptance criteria, including tracking the software supplier with a focus on quality, costs, deadlines, resources, and functions

  • Preparing, presenting, and explaining new process concepts and project status at user and management levels

  • Risk-based analysis and evaluation of existing business and production processes

  • Project management of global digitization projects with intercultural teams

  • Competent and solution-oriented contact person at the level of specialists and executives for team members and customers

  • Ensuring compliance with processes, technical guidelines, legal requirements, and documentation obligations in close coordination with the specialist departments

  • Supporting the configuration and implementation of processes and the creation and approval of acceptance criteria and requirements

  • Leading and initiating workshops with customers or development teams

 

Professional Competencies:

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, computer science, business informatics, or currently studying with professional experience in project management for production-related IT projects

  • Knowledge in hybrid project management (Scrum and classical PM)

  • Very good German and English skills

  • Knowledge in MES, SAP, Azure DevOps, MS Project is desirable

  • Experience in software validation and qualification in the medical device production environment is desirable
