As Project Manager (m/f/d) Global Technical Service Transformation, you take on a key role. You manage central projects of the new operating model, create structures, processes, and transparency and make a significant contribution to how B. Braun shapes technical service for the next decade.
Your Responsibilities:
Project Management for the New Operating Model
- Responsibility for planning, controlling, and implementing projects within the framework of the global realignment of Technical Service.
- Establishment of a clear project structure, governance, and decision-making paths (including decision log, risk log, action tracking).
- Leadership of a cross-functional, international project team; ensuring alignment between global, regional, and local units.
- Preparation, creation, and coordination of Steering Committee materials; tracking decisions and actions.
Global Structure & Process Development
- Development and implementation of global service processes (including org design, role profiles, reporting lines, “dotted line” structures, RACI).
- Development of standards, responsibilities, and future workflows—end-to-end, measurable, and scalable.
- Ensuring transparency of objectives, KPIs, process indicators (PIs), progress, and target achievement.
- Co-design of a global organizational structure including interfaces and operating principles.
Stakeholder, Change, and Communication Management
- Close collaboration with service heads, regions, HR, operations, finance, IT, and other functions.
- Preparation and execution of global alignment meetings, decision formats, and Q&A; consistent, audience-appropriate communication.
- Active change management: enabling employees and leaders, ensuring adoption (training, enablement, feedback loops).
Risk Management & Results Orientation
- Identification of risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies (content, capacity, data, systems).
- Derivation of countermeasures, prioritization, and goal-oriented implementation with clear milestones.
- Regular reporting to Steering Committees and management; escalation and facilitation of decisions.
Process Implementation in Tools & Governance
- Active participation in implementing defined processes in the required tools/platforms (e.g., service management systems, BI/reporting dashboards).
- Requirements management together with IT; ensuring data quality, accessibility, and degree of automation.
- Establishment of a governance framework: definition of objectives, targets, outcomes, and review cadence (e.g., MBR/QBR).
- Definition, standardization, and maintenance of PIs/KPIs (including glossary, data sources, calculation logic); integration into dashboards.
Interfaces (Brief and Openly Defined)
- IT: Close collaboration to ensure system prerequisites, data quality, and tool enablement.
- Quality: Alignment on quality- and compliance-related requirements in processes and KPIs.
- Countries/Regions: Regular exchange to harmonize processes, reporting, and implementation in markets.
- Finance: Collaboration for budget and KPI transparency and financial evaluation of service initiatives.
- SCM: Alignment on parts availability, logistical dependencies, and their impact on service.
Your Profile – What Distinguishes You Professional
- Completed university degree in business, engineering, management, or comparable field.
- Several years of experience in project management or transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methods (traditional and agile).
- Experience in international matrix organizations is an advantage.
- Very good English skills.
