Within the Quality Management of the Hospital Care division, we are looking for students (f/m/d) for an internship and/or thesis in the Business Process Management & Pharmacovigilance Tools team within the Global Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety (GPVS) department at our Group headquarters in Melsungen, starting as soon as possible for a minimum duration of 6 months.
The GPVS department documents and evaluates reports of drug risks that become known and coordinates the necessary measures in accordance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP). As an intern, you will support the team responsible for maintaining and improving pharmacovigilance processes and the applications (e.g. ICSR database, Signal and Risk Management application). c
Tasks:
- Support the team in maintaining and improving pharmacovigilance processes and applications (e.g., ICSR database, signal and risk management application).
- Independently manage a project to model business process maps for Signal management.Conduct systematic literature searches on pharmacovigilance-related topics using internal and external databases.
- Supporting migration of legacy case data to Safety database, including planning, execution and testing.
- Support in the documentation and reporting of pharmacovigilance activities.
- Participate in meetings and assist in preparing presentations and reports.
Professional Skills:
- student (m/f/d) in the fields of pharmacy, natural sciences, computer sciences preferably from the medical/pharmaceutical field (e.g., medical technology, medical informatics, etc.) or other related courses of study.
- attention to detail and ability to perform structured literature searches using scientific databases (e.g., PubMed, Embase etc.,)
- technical affinity for process simplification and automation.
- initial knowledge in data analysis and interpretation

- Proficiency in English, written and spoken, and MS Office is required
