B. Braun has started to shape its new strategy - expanding our existing presence in the medical and nursing care of patients is an integral part of this strategy.
Within the Patient Care & Patient Services department in our outpatient division, B. Braun Avitum is looking for a Global Nurse Manager (m/f/d).


Duties and responsibilities:
Continuously review and validate the B. Braun Avitum standards of nursing practice, tools and processes and support their implementation in the global network
Define nursing key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcome objectives to inform the development of the long-term nursing strategy
Support the improvement of clinical patient outcomes (based on applicable medical KPIs) by analyzing the influence of nursing practice on the relevant outcome parameters
Implementation of derived measures in agreement with the Chief Medical Officer
Responsible for managing the education program for nursing and allied staff including the qualification requirements/ matrix for nurses and respective training records
Active involvement in the Quality Management System through audit and defining corrective and preventive measures as well as improvement projects
Active involvement in developing, managing and implementing clinical and operational information systems, digital workflows and harmonization of processes and products if the nursing practice is concerned and in close alignment with the respective global operations manager
Define and implement tools for patients to increase their therapy involvement, educational status, and satisfaction of the provided services
Organize and lead international nursing events between B. Braun countries to share common experience and communicate global projects
Cooperation with external communities such as associations, patient interest groups, universities and other institutions as related to standards of nursing practice


Professional competencies:
Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification
Wide experience in nursing with mandatory dialysis experience
Proven leadership skills, able to motivate others within an international organization
Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages of advantage

Team approach, working within a multidisciplinary team
Analytical approach to understanding and developing clinical excellence
Able to develop and lead projects across international boundaries
Be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills
Open management style and an ability to manage intercultural teams
Have an understanding of quality and economical aspects in a clinical setting
