As part of the Global Government Affairs & Market Access organization, the Global Lead Market Access (f/m/d) shapes and executes global market access and health economics strategies. Acting as a strategic partner to R&D, Medical Affairs, and Commercial, the role ensures value demonstration across the product lifecycle — from development to post‑launch — optimizing patient access, reimbursement, and commercial success. Strong expertise in health economics outcomes research and value‑based healthcare, as well as deep knowledge of the German healthcare system, are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global market access strategies and operational plans
  • Lead health economics modeling, value dossiers, and real‑world data generation
  • Translate clinical and economic evidence into payer‑relevant value propositions
  • Guide market access and reimbursement execution in key markets
  • Build relationships with payers, HTA bodies, and policymakers
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams
  • Drive capability building and continuous training on market access and HEOR topics

 

Candidate Profile

  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health, or Healthcare Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market access or health economics within pharma, medtech, or consulting
  • Strong understanding of German healthcare and reimbursement system
  • Understanding of other health care systems is an advantage
  • Proven success in HEOR/HTA strategy development and international negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and execution‑driven mindset
  • Leadership experience and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel
