Within the Hospital Care division of B. Braun Melsungen AG, we are currently seeking an Expert (f/m/d) for Equipment Integration und MES Systems in the Braun Technology Center (BTC).

The Braun Technology Center (BTC) develops and manufactures customized special-purpose machines and tools for medical technology. This organizational unit plays a key role in ensuring product quality and safety across the entire corporation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and successfully implementing the integration of production equipment into the MES system.
  • You coordinate interface standards (e.g., OPC UA) and standard modules with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
  • You provide technical support and consulting to internal project teams, production sites, and external suppliers.
  • You develop and validate internal and external equipment suppliers.
  • You support the identification, analysis, coordination, and documentation of new requirements for MES systems and related Operational Technology (OT) and architecture.
  • You contribute to the development of standard solutions for global production automation, especially the B. Braun MES standard platform for discrete manufacturing.
  • You actively participate in the international B. Braun Knowledge Network “Operational Technology.”
  • You train employees, suppliers, and experts at our production sites.
  • You act as a multiplier within the respective departments and global sites.

Professional Competencies:

  • You hold a successfully completed technical bachelor’s degree in fields such as computer science or electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have extensive professional experience in implementing production-related IT projects and software solutions (MES, MDE, BDE), as well as in PLC programming.
  • You have a strong affinity for Industry 4.0 and have successfully implemented projects in this area.
  • You possess basic knowledge of software development in at least one high-level programming language (Java, C#, C++, VB.net).
  • Ideally, you are familiar with working in the medical device environment regarding quality requirements, validation, and qualification.
  • Your profile is completed by excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
