Within the Hospital Care division, we are looking for a Deployment Expert / Global Automation Expert LIMS (f/m/d) for the Manufacturing Automation area at the Melsungen site. The Digital Process Development department focuses on the digitalization and automation of processes on an international level. Together with the global network of experts, consisting of process and production managers, quality managers, and automation specialists, you will work towards the goal of introducing and harmonizing a global LIMS system solution to drive continuous harmonization and compliance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You support the operation of sandbox, development, and qualification instances related to the LIMS system solution, including development, testing, and qualification activities.
- You assist in the end-to-end responsibility for the availability and usability of the LIMS system solution as the global system standard for pharmaceutical process manufacturing.
- You contribute to the integration of all LIMS-relevant subprocesses and projects as well as interface harmonization initiatives (e.g., ERP, MES, OpenLab, LabX).
- You support local laboratories in implementing the global LIMS system.
- You ensure smooth integration between various laboratory systems and the LIMS system.
- You capture and analyze workflows and processes in the laboratory to drive improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- You work closely with various departments and stakeholders, both during project phases and throughout the entire lifecycle.
- You actively collaborate with the respective experts to plan, test, and implement the LIMS system (Template – Deployment – Operations) on a global level.
Professional Competencies:
- You have successfully completed a technical degree or equivalent training.
- Experience with LIMS systems and their use with other laboratory systems would be desirable.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- You have experience working with documentation systems for creating GMP-relevant documentation.
