Within the Center of Excellence for Active Medical Devices (AMD) at B. Braun Avitum, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager as part of our Operations Management Team.

In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of a divisional end-to-end lean system to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance across our production footprint. You will represent the AMD production sites within our divisional expert team ensuring a consistent approach throughout the global manufacturing organization. Your expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop & roll-out the divisional CI System within Active Medical Device factories
  • Develop and implement roll-in strategies
  • Design & conduct assessment processes to sustain the CI system
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives across multiple plants to enhance operational efficiency & effectiveness
  • Coach production line management on Lean Culture principles and practices

 

Professional Competencies:

  • At least bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as CI Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Lean Culture & Methodologies, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other process improvement tools
  • Experience in first line shopfloor management preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is highly desirable

 

Personal Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven track record of change management within production organizations
  • Outstanding communication & leadership skills with the ability to influence & engage external & internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in English & German
