We are looking for a dedicated and security-conscious (Junior) Product Security Solutions Engineer (m/f/d) for our Group Product Security Office at B. Braun. In this exciting role, you will significantly contribute to the development and integration of security solutions specifically designed for our medical devices and systems.
As part of a global team, you will work closely with our research and development departments across various B. Braun Group organizations. You will use your analytical and communication skills to identify and understand requirements and challenges. These insights form the basis for the continuous development and improvement of our security solutions.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative security solutions for our products
- Supporting the management and optimization of central security solutions
- Collaborating with development and engineering teams to integrate security measures and solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving security tools
- Actively monitoring the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to stay up-to-date
Professional competences:
- Completed bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- At least one year of professional experience in software or security engineering
- Solid knowledge of network principles, topologies, and security protocols
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of cryptography to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity
- Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., C/C++, Go, Python, Bash) to support integration efforts and solution development
- Proficiency in using terminals and developing in an IDE on Windows, Linux, or macOS
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+, Azure AZ-900, Azure AZ-104, or comparable certifications
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken (level B2 or higher)
