Operations Manager
Ensure the efficient and integrated operational management of the B. Braun Group’s Hemodialysis Clinics in Portugal, guaranteeing quality of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, excellence in patient experience, economic performance, and alignment with the Group’s strategy.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the daily operation of the hemodialysis clinics, ensuring efficiency, quality of care, and a positive experience for patients.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality requirements, as well as the implementation of internal policies and best practices of the B. Braun Group.
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and promote the continuous improvement of operational, logistical, and resource management processes.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, ensuring their motivation, alignment, and professional growth.
- Work closely with the Clinical Director and with the Human Resources, Quality, and other support functions.
- Manage supplier contracts, control operational costs, and contribute to the clinics’ economic performance (P&L).
- Support commercial initiatives, expansion projects, and infrastructure investments.
- Represent the clinics before external entities, referral hospitals, and local partners, strengthening the Group’s institutional presence and reputation.
To succeed in this role, the following is valued:
- Higher education in Management, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Nursing, or similar fields
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare operations management, preferably in hemodialysis clinics
- Knowledge of the Portuguese hemodialysis sector (valued)
- Knowledge of health quality standards and best practices
- Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) (mandatory)
- Ability to develop and/or implement business plans
- Collaborative spirit and continuous learning mindset
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Solution-focused mindset, problem‑solving skills, results orientation, and continuous improvement drive
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability for frequent travel across the country
