As a Manager - Strategic Projects at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific or multiple projects
    across operations. Work closely with stakeholders, team members and vendors to ensure that designated projects are completed on time,
    within budget, and meet the required quality standards/ deliverables/ key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Responsible for management, performance management and overview of moderate to complex projects in industrial
    engineering, facility management, and administrative areas, including continuous process improvement projects.
  • Oversee the implementation of the project plan, assign tasks to team members (where applicable) and monitor progress
    to ensure that the project is on track. Ensure that the project is technically sound, evidence-based and aligned with stakeholder requirement and priorities.
  • Implement the corporate approach to project management according to Project Execution Management (PEM) and
    related methods in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Implement the adequate governance for project tracking and supervision, actively overseeing portfolios and steering
    teams composed of the right stakeholders, business owners and resource owners. Accompany project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and determine resources needed. Lead on-demand strategic programs and concept phases for strategic business development of the portfolio.
  • Oversee and monitor the status of projects from initiation to delivery, keep management informed of any deviations, and
    maintain proper project and portfolio governance. Provide project management training according to the guidelines of B. Braun’s PEM approach. Provide stewardship to the hierarchy and project managers alike, ensuring that escalation models work in case of deviations.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
    Formal Project Management training or certification preferred (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, Lean).
  • 8+ years and above of experience in project or program management, preferably within manufacturing or regulated industries.
  • Proven experience managing cross‑functional, multi‑site projects with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong PMO fundamentals: portfolio tracking, governance, reporting, risk & issue management.
  • High level of structured communication, executive reporting, and data-driven decision support.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Experience with manufacturing transfers, NPI, or productivity / cost‑improvement programs.
  • Preferably those with exposure to medical devices or regulated environments (ISO, MDR, FDA).
