Your key responsibilities:

Oversees payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with legal and tax regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising the payroll team, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with HR and Finance to support organizational goals. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of payroll systems, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership skills.

Lead, supervise, develop and mentor payroll team to ensure high service standards and effective workload management.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.

Develop and maintain efficient payroll systems and procedures.
-
Oversee timekeeping systems and manage payroll changes (e.g., hires, terminations, raises).

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
-
Coordinate with auditors during payroll tax audits.
-
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll with organizational processes.
-
Maintain accurate personnel and payroll records; generate reports as needed.

Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues.
What you will bring to the team:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
-
Minimum 8–10 years of payroll experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
-
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and tax regulations, including expatriates’ payroll (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, PCB, and other local labor laws).

Proven experience in managing end-to-end payroll operations in a medium to large organization.

Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms; experience with system implementation or process improvement is an added advantage.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in handling payroll audits and liaising with internal/external auditors.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and handle confidential information with integrity.

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with HR, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for payroll analysis and reporting.
