Your Opportunity
Are you highly organised, quality‑focused, and passionate about supporting clinical teams behind the scenes? We are seeking a Loan Kit Coordinator to join our Aesculap Loan Services team, where you will play a critical role in preparing, managing, and dispatching surgical loan kits that support procedures across hospitals and clinics.
Reporting to Loan Services Manager, you will bring your experience in Loan Services/Medical Devices, your eye for detail, and your time management skills to ensure high levels of service for our internal and external customers, supporting our Orthopaedic Loan sets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys hands‑on work, and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Your Responsibilities
In the role you will-
- Prepare, check, and dispatch surgical loan sets within required timeframes for upcoming procedures
- Complete checklists, allocate equipment numbers in MyMediset, and ensure all documentation is accurate prior to dispatch.
- Manage inbound returns, replenishment, stock removal, and put‑away processes for all loan sets and demo kits.
- Coordinate courier bookings, track deliveries, and follow up collections to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Assist with case planning, stocktaking, inventory tasks, admin duties, and after‑hours call monitoring as required.
- Support new kit assembly, labelling, wrapping, and checklist preparation.
About You
To be successful in this role, your background will include:
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Orthopaedic Loan Kit department/medical device or CSSD environment.
- Basic SAP knowledge ideally with Sales & Distribution, Warehouse, Purchasing/Procurement modules
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic MS Excel skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with MyMediset.
- Experience working in a small, multi‑disciplinary team.
- Forklift licence.
Additional requirement :
To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
