🔍 About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven (Senior) Business Development Associate to support the implementation of the annual business plan across our Orthopaedic product portfolio (OSS). In this role, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, develop market opportunities, strengthen dealer networks, and execute marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives in the assigned territory.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for Orthopaedic products.
  • Analyze historical sales, tender performance, and market conditions to forecast demand and secure sufficient stock availability.
  • Build and maintain long‑term, professional relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, and dealers.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to highlight product benefits and proper usage.

2. Dealer Management

  • Implement annual business plans and guide dealers according to market trends and company direction.
  • Review dealer forecasts and finalize sales quantities based on B. Braun supply capability.
  • Manage dealer inventory to ensure continuous availability for hospitals.
  • Strengthen dealer relationships and propose new potential partners for network expansion.

3. Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Review product portfolio, analyze market data, identify key influencing factors, and propose market strategies.
  • Lead market‑research activities and dealer evaluations (questionnaires, vendor management, budgeting).
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies to develop marketing materials (aids, leaflets, posters, digital content).
  • Implement marketing activities such as events, workshops, CME programs, and product briefings.
  • Prepare presentations and product documents for dealers, customers, and KOL engagements.

4. Operations Management

  • Serve as the key contact between dealers and internal SCM for purchase order tracking, delivery updates, and stock handling.
  • Support complaint resolution by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and reporting to management.
  • Prepare tender documents and provide sales administrative support.
  • Configure product solutions to meet specific hospital needs.
  • Collaborate with RA team on regulatory matters to support tender processes.
  • Coordinate with Finance team on payment issues and debt resolution.

5. Reporting & Other Tasks

  • Manage CLM, competitor intelligence, market insights, and tender result tracking.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

📚 Qualifications

Education

  • Must have: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Nice to have: Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
  • Experience working with dealers and basic marketing knowledge is required.
  • Marketing experience is an advantage.
