JOB PURPOSE

This is a key marketing role in Hospital Care team, responsible for IVC, IVS and IC portfolios. The Product Manager will involve in multitude of activities including developing robust strategic marketing plan, leading implementation of marketing activities, collaborating with Sales forces and cross-functional teams to drive portfolio performance in Vietnam market, achieve business targets and optimize product portfolios. 

 

JOB FUNCTIONS - TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Develop annual marketing plan and lead execution of marketing activities for Medical care portfolios (IVC, IVS, IC) to achieve business targets

  • Prepare annual Marketing Plan of assigned product portfolio that defines the relevant market environment and strategic marketing direction
  • Implement marketing activities to drive sales and market share within approved budget
  • Manage marketing budget and expenses for assigned portfolios 
  • Work with relevant stakeholders in the development of pricing strategies of assigned product/product group 
  • Review sales forecast and collaborate with supply chain and regional team in managing overall product availability in the local market 
  • Work with the Commercial excellence team to analyze market data and identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities and business threats
  • Review market information, define business opportunities for new products in order to plan and launch new product lines accordingly to drive growth and stay competitive in the market
  • Adhere to B. Braun's policy, code of conduct, and government regulations in performing ethical business conduct for internal and external interaction.

 

2. Strategically collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive market access and penetration of porfolios assigned

  • Develop brand communication of B.Braun products, provide Sales force with required product training and equip them with necessary tools to effectively perform their selling function
  • Engage and build up good relationship with KOLs/external strategic partners/medical experts and leverage their endorsement to strengthen brand SOV
  • Cooperate with Sales force to prepare for hospital Tender & centralize Tender approach 
  • Stay updated on brand communication and marketing strategies of competitors as well as customer feedback to timely react to competition
  • Provide leadership support to the RA team with regards to product information whenever needed to ensure the product license is available and planned for the business sides.

 

3. Work closely with Sales team to drive effectiveness of marketing activities, resource synergy, KOLs/KDMs engagement and competitors management 

  • Monitor effectiveness of marketing activities, evaluate brand performance and review with Sales team impacts of resource investment 
  • Conduct market surveys to gain customer insights/feedback to B.Braun products/marketing activities if required and develop actions for improvements accordingly 
  • Optimize B.Braun resources through synergized marketing programs involving different portfolios/divisions

 

4. Be the contact point and coordinate with Division MKT Manager, BOM and Marketing Regional/Global Team for assigned and related matters

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on related matters such as new product development, price negotiation, tender document support, customer support, etc… 
  •  Provide local market understanding and customer’s insights to Regional & Global Marketing
  •  Frequently discuss and align with the regional/ global team about product strategies 
  •  Represent local commercial team to work with regional and global divisional teams for related matters

 

5. Others

  • Deliver other tasks as assigned by line manager and/or the company.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT 

 

1. Education: 

 - Bachelor’s degree in Medical/ Pharmacy/Nursing with related experience

- Education in marketing or business administration is preferable 

 

2. Working Experience

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing/Brand managements in medical device/healthcare/pharma industry at MNC organizations
- High understanding of sales and tender process and dynamics of Medical device/ Pharma market
- Marketing experience for medical device or market access experience is strong preferrable 
- Demonstrate experience in critical marketing competencies: analysis, customer/market knowledge, marketing execution within a Pharma/Medical Device environment.

- Have experience with medical consumable products is a plus 

 

3. Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to quickly build relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  •  Ability to inspire and collaborate closely with Sales force on implementing marketing programs and building strong relationship with strategic stakeholders
  • Advanced in English (speaking, writing) and communication skills 
  • Innovative, Agile and possess Strategic Thinking
  • High integrity, ethical & professional in approach.
