About the Role
We are looking for a Microbiology Officer to join B. Braun Vietnam’s Quality Control team. This role ensures compliance with quality standards and regulations while driving efficiency in microbiological testing processes. The successful candidate will perform critical microbiological tests, maintain equipment calibration, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Bioburden tests and Particulate contamination tests for semi-finished goods.
- Perform EO residual testing for medical devices and validate test methods.
- Monitor and control calibration and maintenance activities for microbiology equipment; track incubator temperature data.
- Create and revise SOPs, technical documents, and provide training for team members.
- Investigate and resolve out-of-specification (OOS) findings and technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Production, QA, QM, R&D) and external partners (vendors, labs, institutes) to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in Kaizen projects and propose improvement ideas.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in chemistry or microbiology testing; knowledge of production processes; experience with Bioburden tests and Gas Chromatography is a plus.
