About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Production Planning Officer to join our team at B Braun Vietnam. As a Production Planning Officer, you will plan and coordinate production schedules, materials, and capacity to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Production, SCM, and global stakeholders to translate demand into executable plans in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Join us in Hanoi at B. Your key responsibilities:
- Forecast and Order Handling
- Daily/weekly check, download updated forecast/ orders from Inter-company customers in systems.
- Follow up with budget fulfillment.
- Production Scheduling
- Make daily/weekly production schedule
- Firm plan orders in system
- Convert from plan orders to production orders and printing production shop packets.
- Daily/weekly tracking production output.
- Coordinate to solve any issue that impact to production plan.
- Material Required Planning
- Calculating raw material and components requirement based on MPS loading.
- Communicate forecast demand to Material Planning team.
- Follow up stock status, material availability to ensure smooth production.
- Capacity Planning
- Check and update information of available resources (manpower, production equipment).
- Level production to have the best capacity utilization.
- Work center's schedule update in SAP.
- Export shipment arrangement
- Make forecast for export shipments
- Follow up with SCM team to arrange the shipment on time.
- Data base management
- Create/ Maintain material master data in SAP system.
- Update BOM/Routing.
- Others assigned by the managers
- Tasks to be assigned by team leader/line managers.
- Participate in improvement project activities of departments
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Economic / Business Administration and related degree
- At least 01 year of experience in production planning in a manufacturing company (required)
- Strong experience in Excel at least from intermediate level (required)
- Fluent English skills in both communication and in writing (required)
- Being able to use Power BI, Power Querry and SAP is a plus
- FDI company experience is welcomed
