ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our end‑to‑end supply chain operations. In this role, you will manage a multi‑functional SCM team, covering demand planning, import–export and logistics, ensuring seamless supply flow, high forecast accuracy, effective warehouse operations, and excellent customer service.
You will also drive process optimization, enhance system performance, and ensure full compliance with corporate standards and local regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Operations Management
- Develop, implement and oversee supply chain plans aligned with business strategy and market conditions.
- Manage all logistics activities including warehousing (multiple sites), 3PL performance, transportation, distribution, inventory control and logistics outsourcing.
- Review and improve supply chain workflow, processes and SOPs to enhance efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory and corporate standards; maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
- Evaluate and implement IT/technology solutions to enhance tracking, reporting and inventory visibility.
- Lead annual supply chain budgeting and manage operational cost optimization activities.
2. Demand Planning & Forecast Accuracy
- Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, detect deviations and adjust plans in coordination with Sales and Production.
- Collaborate closely with Production to align long-term and mid-term supply plans with market demand (local & export).
- Conduct monthly forecast vs. actual sales analysis, identify gaps and propose corrective actions.
- Define and execute plant warehousing strategies for raw materials and finished goods.
- Improve inventory turnover, reduce waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Manage inventory including: Raw material, semi, Finished good with lowest Cover In Week
- Control product phase‑in/phase‑out, discontinuation, product diversion, aging and expiry control.
3. Import–Export & Regulatory Compliance
- Lead import–export operations, including customs procedures, permits and tax-exemption applications for materials.
- Tax refund: prepare & submit import tax refund for A12
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Logistics & Warehouse Management
- Oversee warehouse operations across all locations (in‑plant, North/South hubs).
- Manage all local distribution to entire dealers
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, KPIs and safety standards for warehousing and distribution.
- Strengthen cooperation with distributors, dealers, and 3PL partners to maximize efficiency and service quality.
5. Customer Service & Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Quality and Production to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
- Work with Asia Pacific SCM for strategic direction & project desployment
- Support development of business models and distribution channel strategies to fit market needs and regulations.
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop the SCM team (Demand Planning, Import–Export, Logistics) to achieve high performance.
- Coach and mentor team members; ensure succession planning and capability development.
- Drive data integrity, reporting accuracy, KPI tracking and continuous improvement culture.
- Recruit, train and restructure team as needed, ensuring “right people for the right job”.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years in a similar managerial role in multi national manufacturing and trading companies.
- Proven experience managing multi‑functional supply chain teams.
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, logistics, import–export, warehouse operations & inventory management.
- Solid leadership, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing is a strong plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle complexity and drive continuous improvement.
