I. Job Purpose 

  • Lead Engineer - R&D Service is a bridge function between global requestors (e.g.: R&D Global) with local internal functions (e.g.: Production, Planning, SCM, QC, IE, Warehouse, Controlling... ) and external function (e.g.: supplier for material, equipment...) 
  • This function will recieve the request, get deep understanding about the technical requirement from the requestor. Next step is explaining it in an easy way and coordinate with local functions to fullfil the requirement of the requestor. (Plan, implement, problem-solving, documentation)

 

II. Job Function

1. Manage many complex RDS Packages in parallel (focus on sample production and relevant testing)

  • Receive the sample order from Requestor.
  • Clarify the requirement, possibility, estimate timeline, cost, identify risk.
  • Manage relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with requestor, SCM, warehouse for logistic (IMEX).
  • Coordinate with PMS, Production for sample production.
  • Coordinate with Controlling for cost, invoice.
  • Coordinate with Production, Requestor and relevant stake holders when there is any issue and investigaion is required.

 

2. Improvement of R&D Service process (Standardization and Digitalization) & Monitoring R&D Service quality

  • Manage, organize the activities for R&D Service team to monitoring the R&D Service quality (e.g.: Customer survey)
  • Standardizion of R&D Service process, creating SOP, Guideline for R&D Service in alignement with other functions

 

3. Others

  • Coordinate for testing
  • Back up for Aging Service and relevant activities

 

III. Job Requirement 

  • Bacherlor with technical background
  • At least 3 year working experience in industrial environment, prefer working in R&D or PMO (project management) department.
  • Languages skill: Fluent in English communication is a must
  • Project Management Certification is an advantage (e.g.: PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM...)
  • Communication: Effective and efficient, with interculture soft skill.  (exprience working in internationale company with many interfaces with internal and external stakeholder)
