Job Summary
Lead and drive end-to-end process improvement projects, promote LEAN thinking & Six Sigma methodologies, and build a Lean culture towards a “World Class” operating model, ensuring achievement of SQDC+ KPIs and encouraging innovation, digitalization and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Saving & Continuous Improvement Projects
- Drive and lead cost saving projects to achieve cost targets
- Identify, plan, coordinate and lead continuous improvement initiatives (SQDC+ KPI improvement, LEAN & Six Sigma application)
- Collaborate with Global/CoE for deployment of global improvement projects (capacity improvement, Hoshin Kanri, strategic projects)
- Promote cost saving and continuous improvement culture in B. Braun Vietnam
Kaizen Events & LEAN Six Sigma Application
- Lead Kaizen events across the company applying LEAN Six Sigma tools such as A3 Problem Solving, 5S, SMED, VSM/Makigami, TPM, Standard Work, KANBAN, DMAIC
- Participate and collaborate in global leadership programs (Kaizen Leadership, KATA, Global Bootcamps)
Training, Mentoring, Assessment & Communication
- Provide training, mentoring and coaching on LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies and tools
- Plan and lead Global & local assessments (LEAN Transformation Gate, OpEx Benchmarking)
- Drive internal communication, best practice sharing, training plans and recognition programs
Standardization, Visualization, Reporting & Digitalization
- Report performance indicators and business objectives to stakeholders (local/global)
- Lead visualization standards (meeting boards, shop-floor management – SFM)
- Develop and manage SOPs, work instructions, templates and department documentation
- Drive digitalization initiatives (Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, Python, AI) to optimize processes and eliminate waste
- Support operations in resolving digital platform/system issues
Stakeholder Management
Internal: Manager – OpEx & Technology, OPEX Engineer, Automation Lead Engineer, OT Lead Engineer, related stakeholders/managers, all employees
External: Global OpEx team, Suppliers/Vendors
- Collaborate on improvement projects, Kaizen events and training programs
- Coordinate project sponsorship, implementation and reporting
- Work with global teams on project deployment, digital platforms and best practice sharing
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree (required)
- Technical background: Mechanical, Automation, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication
- LEAN knowledge (concepts, tools, methodology)
Preferred:
- Master degree
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt)
- Digitalization competency (design, develop, maintain applications)
Experience
Must-have:
- 2–5 years experience in continuous improvement projects implementation
- Experience in automation / digitalization / manufacturing environment
- Experience in planning and implementing training
Preferred:
- Operational / Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator experience
