As a Engineer - Process Engineering , you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and supporting our packaging and printing processes for medical products. Working closely with production, quality, and global engineering teams, you'll drive improvement projects, introduce new technologies and equipment, and ensure our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance.
IE Engineer (Process Engineer) role is responsible for process engineering for packaging & printing processes. The role will implement new packaging development and life cycle activity for packaging development which are included new products, new equipment, new materials. This position also conduct continuous improvement and capacity planning for packaging process.
1) Engineering responsible of development and implementation for Packaging & Printing projects:
- In charge of Packaging & printing projects: new machines, die set, new printers …as engineering function of the project (technical expert).
- Define / create process setting parameters for packaging (engineering test, collaboration with R&D, Global process engineering). Responsible to perform DoE for packaging process, issue and update process specification.
- Confirm material datasheet from process (technical aspects): packaging paper artwork check and confirm for process ( tolerant, direction, printing feasibility).
2) Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvements in packaging and printing processes, focusing on cost-saving initiatives and quality enhancement.
3) Local change control handle (materials changes, equipment change…): Handle local change control for materials changes and equipment change. Support QM in packaging process validation.
4) Engineering responsible for life cycle activities of Packing&Printing process: Be responsible for the technical aspects of all activities throughout the entire lifecycle of the packaging and printing process, including management, operation, and continuous improvement to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
5) Global technical contact point for Packing&Printing process: act as the coordinator and primary contact point for BBVN on packaging and printing-related matters, serving as the technical expert responsible for updating new technologies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), standards, and requirements related to packaging and printing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree with technical background in Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation...
- At least 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing work as Process Engineer/IE Engineer/ Packaging Engineer.
- Experience medical devices manufactoring, assembly and packaging process is preferred
- Good command of English.
