About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Maintenance Engineer to join our team at B Braun Vietnam. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving sub‑assembly and Dosifix equipment to ensure stable production performance. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, SOP development, project support, and equipment validation, working closely with production, vendors, and global teams. If you’re an engineer with a strong technical background, hands‑on maintenance experience, and an interest in project management and working in a regulated manufacturing environment, we’d love to meet you! Your key responsibilities:

1. Maintenance activities

1.1) To implement PM/CM/PdM maintenance for all machines and equipment (Sub-assembly, Dosifix)

1.2) Build SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) and SMP (Standard Maintenance Procedure) and conduct with the team on this process.

1.3) Work with OT team to backup all software application of machines and equipment (PLC software, program in term of Sub and Dosifix assembly group.

1.4) Implement calibration for machine and devices based on SOPs or Compliance (if any)

1.5) Control spare parts in, and out properly to maintain always minimum stock of critical spare parts, then reduce machine breakdown time, increase productivity

1.6) Review and revise task list, preventive maintenance schedule (if needed)

1.7) Improve knowledge for technicians, then reduce repair time, improve machine condition by proper maintenance"                                                                                                           

2. Build a maintenance strategy for team to do

2.1) Plan for PM schedule yearly and monthly for Sub-assembly and Dosifix assembly

2.2) OCAT analysis with Equipment

2.3) OCAT analysis with materials

2.4) Spare parts management (Inventory management reports)

2.5) Implement RFQ, PR process with spare parts and consumable (Sub-assembly and Dosifix)"                                                                                                                 

3. Reporting and documentation

3.1) Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime and Analysis the root cause of (Sub-assembly, Dosifix) and actions plan on (A3/breakdown reports)

3.2) Make weekly maintenance report (Sub-assembly, Dosifix) and or incident report (if any)

3.3) Bi-weekly meeting with production to solve the issues

3.4) Work closely with production team to solve the issues

3.5) Documentation control for maintenance department, update, revise all SOPs if needed

4. Project Management & monitor investment budget

4.1 Build URS/Technical specification for all projects belong of maintenance

4.2 Submit project into PEMIT and monitor project from beginning until project closed out

4.3 Work with stakeholders to provide technical support, and collaborate with vendors to clarify technical specifications to ensure compliance

4.4 To perform IQ, OQ and PQ and send out the reports for serial production and handover for customers

4.5 Review and submit investment budget for all projects, monitor and control budget, analysis financial for each project together with CO

4.6 Monthly cashout report and monitor project status and escalation if needed."

5. Other tasks

5.1) Coordinator Energy Efficiency Project ISO 50001

5.2) Initiatives and implement Kaizen for Sub and Dosifix assembly group

5.3) Can communicate with expert or vendor on technical issues and solve together with experts if needed.

5.4) Others (communicate with Global team for support of new projects and or new machines...)

                                                                       

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree with technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Hydraulic Pneumatic and related degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in production and maintenance
  • Fluent English skills in both communication and in writing
  • Experience and knowledge in Lean 6 Sigma is a plus
  • Project management certification is a plus             
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) knowledge is a plus                                                         
  • FDI company experience is welcomed
