About the Role
B. Braun Vietnam is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - HR Rewards Lead to develop, plan, and implement compensation, benefits, wellness, and total rewards programs that enhance organizational performance, employee satisfaction, and trust. This position will also oversee HR systems (SAP), ensure compliance with labor regulations, and lead the Total Rewards team in delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful compensation and benefits services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and Administer Company Rewards Programs (30%)
- Define a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation package aligned with company strategy and business goals.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct market benchmarking, salary surveys, compensation analysis, and budget preparation.
- Perform job evaluations and review salary structures to ensure internal and external equity.
- Analyze, design, manage, and assess benefits, compensation, and rewards programs that support attraction and retention of talent.
- Manage annual compensation processes, including merit reviews, incentive grants, and promotions.
- Provide guidance and creative solutions on compensation-related matters.
- Manage enrollment, renewal, and delivery of benefits programs, including employee health and accident insurance.
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports as required.
- Develop communication plans and resources to maximize employee awareness and utilization of available programs.
- Identify and implement best practices through participation in professional and industry groups and market surveys.
2. Manage and Develop HRIS & HR Analytics (30%)
- Ensure SAP and other HR systems operate accurately, compliantly, and on schedule.
- Lead the design and implementation of new or customized system functionalities with external SAP vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Lead internal audits related to system revisions and data accuracy.
- Oversee benefits enrollment system requirements and coordinate with vendors, Business Technology Services, HR, and Payroll teams.
- Utilize HR systems and analytical tools to effectively manage participation and cost data.
- Develop guidelines and best practices for stakeholders to maximize efficiency and accuracy when using HR systems.
3. Ensure Full Compliance with Labor Regulations (25%)
- Manage development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and global/regional guidelines.
- Maintain and update Internal Labor Regulations, Collective Labor Agreements, and Employee Handbooks.
- Ensure payroll, taxation, and insurance records are maintained with high accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
- Develop and deliver compensation and benefits communication strategies and training programs.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert and escalation point for Total Rewards programs.
- Prepare and manage compensation and benefits documentation, including pay policies and incentive plans.
- Ensure proper compliance controls, audits, reporting mechanisms, and dashboards are in place to measure program effectiveness and identify trends.
4. Develop the Total Rewards Team and Contribute to HR Excellence (10%)
- Serve as a member of the HR management team and contribute to departmental objectives and initiatives.
- Supervise HR professionals and support staff.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, and training initiatives through Total Rewards programs.
5. Other Responsibilities (5%)
- Prepare and submit reports, analyses, and plans on time.
- Lead or support cross-functional HR initiatives and projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
- Human Resources Management
- Labor Relations or related fields
Experience
Required
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HR systems.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supervising a team.
- Proven experience in data analytics using tools such as Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law and its practical application.
Preferred
- Experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits within a manufacturing environment.
