IT Biomedical Engineer B. Braun Medical Ghana Ltd.

 

For our company B. Braun Medical Ghana Ltd., we are looking for an IT Biomedical Engineer. The IT Biomedical Engineer will contribute to the integration of our medical devices into the hospital’s existing IT network.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • The Technical Support Engineer plays a key role in B. Braun success by understanding and addressing the more complicated technical issue that our customers are facing, focused on troubleshooting and repair of biomedical equipment and on IT Connectivity.
  • Actively involvement of Automated Infusion System business development by visiting customers, product presentations and users’ training.
  • Identification of connectivity needs and potential facilities to properly tailor offers for an optimal sustainable solution
  • Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer devices at the customer site and at the office.
  • Support of IT projects in the hospitals in North and West Africa region (English and French speaking countries).
  • Preparation of documentation and process description.
  • Training, support and user training.

 

Your expertise

 

  • Graduate with Bachelor or Master Degree in IT or Business Administration with IT background or an equivalent degree.
  • Business-fluent bilingual English/French
  • Strong theoretical and hands-on practical IT skills and knowledge.
  • 3 years’ IT experience required with knowledge of logical and physical network design.
  • Knowledge of LAN / WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, Wi-Fi, etc.
  • Experience with data communication concepts and principles, network troubleshooting skills, Internet and Intranet architecture, network security policies, maintenance and diagnostic techniques and procedures of a network.
  • Expertise in standard Microsoft office tools.
