DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Business Development Specialist or Supervisor is responsible for developing and preparing business development materials, interfacing with customers, building business cases and sourcing new products, companies, technologies, and intellectual property that meet the business unit’s strategic initiatives in related with sterile container system field. They will also serve as a liaison to the marketing department to ensure alignment on business cases and marketing strategy. Supporting business development and preparation of materials will include execution of due diligence, strategic rationale and management of key relationships with the potential strategic partner. This Manager will work with internal and external groups such as Business Development, sales, marketing, engineering, regulatory, operations, and market insights to accomplish the required scope of work to justify the acquisition. In addition to their business development responsibilities, this individual will be responsible for developing market assessments, building strategies.
- Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers in the assigned districts/ areas.
- Forecast and implement the monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and profit targets and broader total business objectives.
- Build relationships with both external and internal customers to capitalize on all business opportunities.
- Identify key opinion leaders and work with Sales Manager to ensure development of strong business relationships.
- Measure success of sales performance and activities conducted within the area.
- Coordinate and organize sales meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences to build product demand.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- University degree, preferably majored in bio-health related area
- Minimum 5 years work experiences in medical industry as sales Reps or product Manager
- Business experience related to operating rooms
- Experience in the sterile packaging business is preferred
- Direct sale experiences for university hospitals and general hospitals
- Dealers’ management
- Intermediate or higher English writing and speaking
- Fluency in MS office work
- Solid KOL & channel management
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined
