We are looking for a Product Maintenance Manager to support our R&D team in Freiburg at B. Braun New Ventures.

 

Duties and responsabilities:

  • Manage discontinuation and change processes to ensure the availability and the continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle 
  • Establish and optimize new processes and team structures specifically for end-of-life topics to ensure efficient product phase-out and knowledge transfer 
  • Support and control complex product changes at all levels (component, sub-system and system) and across all phases of the change control process 
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and various B. Braun manufacturing sites to ensure alignment and execution 
  • Coordinate intensively with multiple departments to ensure change implementation, verification, documentation and quality assurance
  • Contribute as a member of an interdisciplinary Scrum team comprising hardware & software engineers, as well as test, manufacturing, supply and quality engineers, and product management

 

 

Professional competencies:

  • Engineering background with over three years of experience in regulated industries (medical, aerospace, automotive) with a focus on product development, supply chain or manufacturing
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers and manufactures, particularly in the development of mechatronic products
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards related to development, manufacturing, and supply chain processes 
  • Hands-on experience in change management, change control processes, and end-of-life strategies for complex products
  • Experience with SAP and supply chain management tools (e.g. Silicon Expert), would be plus

 

 

Personal competencies:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to plan, organize and implement complex and concurrent tasks
  • Excellent communicator with proven strengths in interface management and a hands-on, result-driven approach
  • Skilled at balacing attention to detail with timely execution 
  • Fluent in both English and German
