Our goal is to augment caregivers’ eyes, hands and decision making with sensors, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Our cloud platform team is focused on creating corporate-wide solutions that will drive the next generation of B. Braun’s digital products and connected devices. Duties and responsabilities:

 

  • You will be part of a team developing a platform and associated software for digital surgery combining sensors, imaging and navigation
  • You will build clean, modular, and maintainable software components using modern development practices. Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation
  • You will create well-structured and maintainable software components using state-of-the-art software design approaches
  • You will be part of a scrum team collaborating with other software developers as well as with software architects, robotics engineers, system engineers, UX engineers, quality engineers and product owners
  • You are open to work on all phases of product development from early concepts to implementation and Verification and Validation activities
  • You will comply with medical software standards and have the responsibility of developing, integrating, documenting and validating your own software modules
  • You will be able to participate in interactive labs with doctors and partners on-site

 

Professional competencies:

 

  • M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Image Processing or related field
  • Experience with tracking/navigation systems
  • Strong skills in 3D geometry and linear algebra is considered a plus
  • Proficient in C++ and Python, using Git and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with real-time programming on Linux, ROS2, iceoryx, or distributed systems
  • Experience with technologies like Qt, OpenCV, VTK, GTest/GMock is an advantage
  • Background in regulated industries (medical, aerospace, automotive) is desirable
