Job Summary: This is a broad ranging role within the Asia Pacific Sustainability team covering development of a sustainability skills academy, a sustainability talent pipeline, hands on coaching and training as well as leadership on communication and market relations. The role will require close collaboration within region as well as with Group Sustainability.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Capability Development:
  • Provide hands on guidance and coaching to sustainability teams as part of the deployment of regional action plans and roadmaps.
  • Responsible for training on sustainability topics in the region and lead in ‘train the trainer’ initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing a talent pipeline for sustainability.
  • For the more senior position, lead the development and implementation of Sustainability Skills Academy for deployment across Asia Pacific in close collaboration with Human Resource and Group Sustainability.

 

  • Communication and Market Relations:
  • Lead sustainability related communication with all levels of the organization, including any visualization boards in close collaboration with Corporate Communications and Group Sustainability.
  • Assist the Sustainability team in planning, execution and engagement for summits, forums, conferences and such like events.
  • For the more senior position, provide a coordination point for external related requests from, for example, customers and liaising with Group Sustainability on market relations topics.

  • Sustainability Development and Projects:
  • Carry out specific sustainability related projects and tasks in connection with Asia Pacific Sustainability roadmap and action plan.
  • Assist the Director of Sustainability Excellence and Sustainability team in the execution of data analysis and preparation, program cadence, events, communication etc.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in specific topics.
  • Conduct research on behalf of country coordinators, workstream leads and the wider sustainability network.

 

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field, preferably in sustainability related with at least 1-3 years of work experience.
  • Able to work in a cross-country environment regionally.
  • Able to lead and influence team in a matrix environment.
    Able to work independently, without close supervision.
  • Well organized process thinkers.
  • Experience in sustainability role is preferred.
  • Hands-on person to get things done.
