Your key responsibilities:

Implement the organisation's health and safety policy and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organisation complies with all current and future regulations and laws.

Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working conditions.
-
Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.

Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the organisation complies with all current and future regulations and laws, and the organisation's safety policies and standards.

Maintain and analyse records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern.
-
Educate and train the organisation's workforce on health and safety to ensure that they understand and comply with the organisation's health and safety policies and standards.
-
Select, train, and evaluate designated workplace safety or first aid officers to ensure that they understand and can perform the responsibilities of their role.
-
Ensure that first aid supplies and resources are available in accordance with regulations and the organisation's health and safety policies.
-

What you will bring to the team:

Possesses a Degree in EHS/engineering/relevant & registered safety & health Officer.
-
Must possess Greenbook SHO.
-
Good experience in Ergonomic Risk Assessment.
-
Good experience in Noise Protection Program.
-
Good experience in Industrial Hygiene Monitoring & Testing.
-
Good experience in Chemical Management.
-
Good experience in the Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) Program.
-
Preferably those Certified Lead auditors in ISO 45K/14K.
-
Preferably, those Certified Assessors for CHRA.
-
Preferably, those Certified Advanced Ergonomic Assessments.
-
Strong knowledge of emergency response preparedness and fire safety management.
-
Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, with experience in implementing EHS programs.
-
Understanding of industrial hygiene practices, including chemical safety, hearing conservation, and ergonomics.
-
Ability to manage scheduled waste in compliance with legal requirements.
-
Knowledge of regulatory safety compliance, including Certificate of Fitness (CF) renewal and machinery safety buy-off.
-
Experience in conducting machinery safety assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
-
Competence in contractor safety management.
-
Skills in reviewing and improving emergency response plans, including ERT procedures.
-
Experience assisting with industrial hygiene programs and scheduled waste handling.
-
Ability to support the implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.
