Head of HUB Bogotá

 

The Hub Head, Bogotá will be responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling B. Braun’s Global Business Services (GBS) Hub, with full accountability for strategy, operations, people, and service delivery. The role will drive the transition, stabilization, and optimization of services into the Hub, initially focusing on North America (U.S. and Canada), while supporting the evolution of B. Braun’s global GBS operating model. As the senior leader for the Bogotá Hub, this position will foster a high-performing culture, ensure operational excellence, build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, and represent B. Braun externally to strengthen the organization’s presence and reputation in the local market. Additionally, the Hub Head will act as the primary liaison between the Hub and key countries, overseeing service migrations and ensuring successful delivery, transformation, and continuous improvement across all transferred processes.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute the Bogotá Hub strategy aligned with the Global Business Services roadmap and business priorities.
  • Drive hub growth, scalability, and long-term value creation.
  • Position the Hub as a strategic partner to the business.

 

Site Leadership and Team cohesion

  • Lead the Bogotá Hub as a unified, high-performing organization across multiple functions.
  • Foster collaboration, alignment, and accountability among leadership teams.
  • Create an environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and shared success.

 

Leadership & Partnership

  • Provide inspirational leadership that promotes trust, inclusion, and high performance.
  • Partner with functional and regional leaders to deliver business objectives.
  • Enable effective decision-making and organizational alignment.

 

Operational Leadership

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services across all functions.
  • Drive operational excellence, compliance, and service reliability.
  • Balance customer needs, business priorities, and resource optimization.

 

Transition & Transformation Management

  • Lead service transitions into the Hub, ensuring business continuity and operational readiness.
  • Drive transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Champion digitalization, automation, and process standardization.

 

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Align service delivery with evolving business requirements and customer expectations.
  • Effectively manage escalations, risks, and competing priorities.

 

Culture & Engagement

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and inclusion.
  • Promote employee engagement and leadership development across the organization.
  • Support the attraction, retention, and growth of top talent.

 

External Relations

  • Represent the Bogotá Hub internally and externally as an ambassador of B. Braun.
  • Build relationships with industry partners, professional networks, academic institutions, and local stakeholders.
  • Strengthen the Hub's reputation as an employer and service provider of choice.

 

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish clear performance metrics and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor service outcomes, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and value creation.

 

 

Professional Competencies & leadership capabilities

  • 15+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years leading SSC or GBS organizations.
  • Proven leadership of large-scale operations with responsibility for 500+ FTEs and strong people leadership capabilities.
  • Experience across multiple functions, including at least three of the following: Finance, People Services, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Demonstrated success in business transformation, service transitions, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing budgets in global environments.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent English required; Portuguese and Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
