For the Aesculap division at our Tuttlingen location, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (f/m/d) for Minimally Invasive Surgery for the North America region within our Global Marketing department.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You will provide operational support and further development of the countries in the North America region in the business area of Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), taking into account the company strategy (strategic market development)
- You are responsible for significantly shaping the expansion of the Minimally Invasive Surgery business area, including the further development of sales organizational structures in the North America region
- You develop and implement all sales and marketing activities in close cooperation and coordination with local sales and marketing colleagues
- You are responsible for implementing product- and indication-related sales expertise in the defined countries or region
- You provide professional instruction in Minimally Invasive Surgery, including support for local business plans and advice on all strategic issues
- Preparing market, potential, and customer analyses, including identification, as well as collaborating with and further developing international key opinion leaders, is part of your responsibilities
- You conduct OR support, training events, roadshows, and workshops
- As a Business Development Manager (f/m/d), you plan and conduct customer visits in the markets and at B. Braun/Aesculap
- You collaborate with central project teams on global product launches and support the operational implementation in the markets
- As a booth manager (f/m/d), you organize international congresses and support local trade fairs/congresses
- You act as a liaison between central and local organizational units and synchronize stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Aesculap Academy, Finance, Controlling, Legal, HR, and Compliance
Professional Competencies:
- You have a degree in business administration (DH/FH or university) or a comparable qualification
- With several years of professional experience in sales or (operational) marketing, you bring knowledge of medical technology and ideally experience in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery
- Sales experience and/or international experience are desirable
- Your analytical thinking skills and confident handling of complex issues, sophisticated medical products, and various sales concepts set you apart
- You combine strategic and entrepreneurial thinking with a hands-on mentality
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- You are proficient in using common software applications
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required (approx. 40–60 travel days per year)
