 Your Opportunity

 

Are you a strategic and people-focused sales leader with a passion for improving patient outcomes? We’re looking for an exceptional National Sales Manager to lead our Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) and Operating Room Solutions (ORS) portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

 

Reporting to the Director - Hospital Care (Surgical & Intervention), you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy for our MIS and ORS portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll play a key role in driving sustainable business growth, building a high-performance team, and strengthening our position as a trusted partner in surgical innovation.

 

This role is located in Bella Vista, Sydney but we are open to flexible arrangements for the right candidate

 

Your Responsibilities

 

In this role you will-

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a national team of Sales Specialists and Clinical Education Specialists, empowering them to achieve ambitious performance and growth targets.
  • Drive commercial outcomes by delivering on revenue, profit, and market share objectives, while maintaining a strong focus on customer value and long-term partnerships.
  • Implement national sales strategies that align with corporate objectives and market demands, ensuring alignment with marketing and clinical teams to maximise product uptake and engagement.
  • Champion surgeon engagement and education, partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital networks to support adoption of B. Braun’s technologies and solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, regulatory, logistics and finance teams to ensure operational excellence and a seamless customer experience.
  • Act as a key voice of the customer, gathering insights from healthcare professionals and procurement teams to refine our approach, products, and service delivery.
  • Promote a strong performance culture, with a focus on coaching, succession planning, employee engagement, and ongoing professional development.
  • Represent B. Braun at major conferences and industry events, enhancing visibility and building relationships with key stakeholders across the surgical ecosystem.

 

About You

 

Ideally, your background will include:

  • 10+ years of sales and marketing experience in the field of medical devices
  • Proven success in medical device sales leadership roles.
  •  Deep understanding of the technologies, solutions, competition and trend in the ANZ market.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to forecast, budget, and deliver growth.
  • Passion for coaching, developing others, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels – from surgeons to hospital administrators.
  •  Qualifications in a business management discipline will be highly desirable

 

Additional requirement :
