As a GAMA Head at B. Braun Group you will play a vital role in shaping a favorable policy environment and driving product market access and reimbursement for commercial success

Your key responsibilities:               

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and lead the implementation of an integrated Government Affairs & Market Access strategy by thorough analysis of economy, governement policies and market acesss trend to support business objectives and product launch plans; Represent the company in high-level policy dialogues and industry forums, enhancing the company’s profile and influence.
  • Policy & Access Shaping: Monitor, analyze, and influence relevant policies, regulations, reimbursement listing, and payment system reforms related to medical devices. Provide forward-looking insights for business decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: a. Establish and maintain high-level, trusted strategic relationships with key government agencies (e.g., NMPA, NHC, NHSA), industry associations, and KOLs; b. Establish and maintain efficient communication with country leadership teams and divisional leadership team ; c. Closely cooperate and collaborate with Global Government Affairs & Market Access team. Clearly communicate value story and provide high-level briefing on development trend of local policy and regulation to fully align strategies with the global and ensuring transparent understanding of local political environment. 
  • Market Access Drive: Lead pricing & reimbursement, tender, listing, and hospital access strategies and execution for key products to ensure commercial success.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Act as a pivotal hub, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, RMA, HTA and other teams to ensure seamless alignment from policy insight to market access.

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor degree or above in medicine, public health, public policy, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Government Affairs & Market Access within the healthcare sector (medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred), with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
