As a Laboratory Operation Technician at B. Braun, you will play a vital role in….

 

Your key responsibilities:            

 

 

  • To provide support in conducting testing.
  • To perform accurate data entry for testing conducted.
  • Responsible for maintaining test equipment functionality, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration coordination.
  • To perform all works and tasks about all electronics/mechanical works, calibration works, and monitoring works in support of daily operation.
  • This includes undertake troubleshooting and repairs of machines, auxiliary equipment, projects, installation and modification works.
  • To utilize SAP PM module system for maintenance schedule and maintaining proper records on all maintenance works done.
  • To routinely check on equipment for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the inventory.
  • To maintain and follow GDP practice.
  • To keep proper and accurate records outlined by the immediate superior.
  • To ensure proper housekeeping and tidiness of the facilities.
  • Make arrangement for samples disposal once the test order is completed.
  • To assist engineer in developing jig and/or fixture and/or equipment setup basic/simple processes and procedures.
  • Support Management/Superior in qualification and verification /validation activities.
  • For more senior position, shall be responsible in guiding and training co-worker.
  • For more senior position, to initiate improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency.
  • For more senior position, to orient or provide guidance to team members but refer most matters to the superior.
  • Ensure laboratory operation and projects are compliance to specification and relevant standard regulations, as well as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 13485 and FDA quality system requirements.
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • A diploma or professional certificate in engineering is required.
  • Experience in product testing, quality review, and defect investigation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as OGP Smartscope and Tensile Machines (Zwick, Instron) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an advantage.
