Your key responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely and task-oriented processing of projects that encompass process engineering tasks (especially for equipment, molding, and tooling idealization, conceptualization, and implementation), focusing on account investment and production costs.
- Drive projects and processes in accordance with the respective valid operating instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment, molding, and tooling.
- Manage equipment, molding, and tooling projects following the Project Execution and Management (PEM) principles.
- Responsible for applying global quality requirements related to B. Braun's production sites worldwide for equipment, molding, and tooling.
- Develop project concepts and feasibility studies on best practice for manufacturing, including equipment, molding, and tooling processes.
- Verify technical compliance with acceptance criteria, conduct acceptance tests, and monitor the commissioning and relocation of equipment, molding, and tooling. - Provide customer support in all project phases for equipment, molding, and tooling.
- Work closely with other functional teams such as Research and Development (R&D), Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc. to improve quality and yield for equipment, molding, and tooling.
- Review technologies, processes, production facilities, and products regarding opportunities for streamlining and optimization with the goal of improving quality and cost-effectiveness in equipment, molding, and tooling.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering.
- Good experience in End-to-end leadership of complex PIM new-product introduction and industrialization projects—from concept and feasibility through ramp-up, validation and handover—while controlling schedule, capital investment and production cost.
- Experience in Advanced specification and acceptance of injection-molding equipment and automation, including URS/FS, technical bid evaluation, design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, relocation and final acceptance.
- Strong regulated-manufacturing and validation capability: risk management, IQ/OQ/PQ, change control, traceable technical documentation, and practical application of ISO 13485/ISO 9001 and global quality requirements.
- Deep mold and tooling knowledge covering DFM, mold-flow/simulation review, tool design, mold trials/tryouts, dimensional feedback, process-window development, troubleshooting and supplier management.
- Data-driven process engineering using DOE, SPC and capability analysis to reduce defects, improve yield and cycle time, stabilize processes, and make sound technical decisions across multiple workstreams.
- Preferably experience in Integration of fully automated molding cells, robotics, auxiliary equipment, vision/inspection systems and manufacturing data systems.
- Preferably experience in medical-device or another highly regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment with stringent quality and traceability requirements.
- Preferably with Global, multi-site project leadership using structured project-execution methods, including technology roadmap development, supplier negotiation and coaching of engineers.
