As a Manager / Sr. Manager - EHS at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….
- Planning, developing, organizing, implementing and enhancing safety program to achieve organization EHS objective and observe to organization EHS policy.
- Identifying current and future applicable EHS regulations and interacting with all related department in the plant to implement acceptable systems in order to ensure compliance and conformance to the applicable EHS regulatory standards.
- Establishing, implementing and maintaining plant EHS management system which including but not limited to, workplace safety inspection, incident investigation and reporting, EHS training, hazards Identification, risk assessment and risk control (HIRARC), emergency response preparedness, machinery safety compliances, industrial hygiene requirements, environmental quality compliances.
- Establishing and monitoring progress toward plant EHS goals, facilitation of EHS program objectives completion by providing clear and continuous direction to the plant staff.
- Responsible for leadership, development and managing of plant EHS team, analyze and fill any gaps in the team competency and/or capacity. Ensuring timely EHS technical support to plant staffs in regards to regulatory compliance, plant EHS procedure compliances, EHS data management, enforcement action response, and regulatory agency visit/audit/inspection.
- Coordination and engagement of EHS personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS goals which will positively impact and add value to the organization. Managing of EHS documentation with associated retention rules.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Sciences/ EHS discipline with a Green Book Holder. Minimum 10 years of related experience in EHS field with at least 3 years of managerial position.
- Must be well versed with Malaysia regulations (OSHA Act 1994, FMA 1967, Poison Act 1952, Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984, Fire Service Act 1988, Uniform Building By-Laws 1984 and Environmental Quality Act 1974) and EHS Management System (ISO14001, ISO45001) with experience in management system audits. Experience in running EHS programs to deliver and maintain reduced EHS incidents and to monitor and report/present to Management.
- Able to effectively manage a team and interact constructively with authorities, stakeholders, management and workers in a matrix organization. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability. Excellent leadership and management skills. Good to have experience in handling Sustainability, Business Continuity Plan management and Crisis management.
- Knowledge in Equipment safety and machine guarding standard requirement: IEC/ ISO/ ANSI/ SEMI equivalent is a plus. Knowledge in Fire Life Safety requirement: FM Global/ NFPA equivalent is a plus.
