Your key responsibilities:
- Direct and implement the organisation's learning and development strategy to support skills development for the organisation's current and future needs.
- Support divisions on learning gaps identification for individuals or groups of employees. Direct, design, develop and evaluate training programs for the various learning clusters base on organizational needs of:
- Demand for Work
- Competencies Development
- Team Development
- Upskilling Collaboration
- Oversees maintenance and processing of learning records by conducting audits to ensure validity and integrity of the data; and ensure the qualification managements systems is audit compliant at all times.
- Oversee the companies Human Resource Development Fund, ensure training compliance and claims for reimbursements are correctly executed. Provide leadership for administrative improvements on bursary efficiency and effectiveness where warranted.
- Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external consultants and training providers to ensure that the organisation receives satisfactory standards of service; build close relationship with various universities, learning institution and related bodies for positive collaboration activities.
- Keep up to date on developments and innovations in training and education in industry and government education sectors so that the organisation's training activities remain current and relevant.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of learning and development professionals to ensure delivery organization learning & development strategy and related activities.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field, preferably Human Resources with proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, Training Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of effective learning and development methods and familiar with e-learning platforms and practices.
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
