Your key responsibilities:
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform in the area of responsibility accurately and timely.
- In the area of responsibility, reconcile accounts, post entries, and maintain a complete and accurate sub ledger and general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organisation has a full and accurate statement of its financial position
- Period-end closing, preparations of reporting for internal and external area of responsibility.
- Application of continuous process optimization using the appropriate reports provided. Solution finding as well as implementation of automation/ optimization measures in the area of responsibility.
- Support in training preparation and implementation in the area of responsibility
- In accordance of requirement area of responsibility creation of process documentation, training material and ensure that it is in accordance to the requirement of the respective areas.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting; or professional accounting certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA)
- At least 3 to 5 years' experience in SAP General Ledger (GL) / fixed assets (AA)/ controlling (CO)
- Experience in supporting finance-related projects i.e. system migration, implementation of new tax rules and working in shared service environment.
- It will be advantageous if you can communicate in additional languages such as Japanese, Thai, Mandarin, Korean, or Filipino.
