As a Manager - Corporate Communication at B. Braun you will play a vital role in….
Your key responsibilities:
Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Relations
- Assist the Head of Department on communications topics for the Asia Pacific region and execute projects for external
audiences to build the reputation of the Company.
- Support the Head of Department in special projects, annual strategy meeting and liaison for Asia Pacific representatives
of Corporate Communications.
- Prepare reports on projects undertaken by Corporate Communications for submission to the Board and Management
Committee.
- Promote collaborations between internal stakeholders and sharing information that will benefit cross-functional
projects/programmes.
- Able to clearly articulate ideas, communications strategy in the relevant areas of expertise and able to work under
pressure and intense deadlines.
Internal Communications and External Communications
- Strategize and implement a variety of projects and initiatives in the key areas of Internal Communications; as well as
support Employee and Community Engagement opportunities, aligning initiatives with the company culture and business
objectives.
- Develop and execute an internal communications strategy in collaboration with key business divisions (e.g.
Manufacturing Operations and HR) to effectively engage a large workforce.
- Write, edit and produce communications content (print, online and social media) for internal and external audiences.
- Maintain the network of electronic communications platforms across the Penang manufacturing site with the support of
the IT Department.
- To keep abreast of current issues relating to Sustainability topic, to strategise on communications approach for different
target audience and work together with AP Sustainability Committee in disseminating information internally in BMI and
all AP sites.
Digital Communications
- Regional responsibility for the implementation of technical solutions for digital communications, which include
corporate websites, the company intranet, the central product information management system, social media sites and the
media asset database.
- Close coordination with respective global process owners to constructively link global, regional and local concepts,
processes and perspectives.
- Regular monitoring of all digital communications platforms in the region to ensure their compliance to Group
guidelines, as well as social media channels for news and information related to the Company; initiating corrective action,
as required.
- Consult, design concepts, coordinate and train in-market colleagues for the implementation of the digital platforms,
where necessary.
Brand Management
- Provide Corporate Brand Management and Employee Communications counsel to Asia Pacific subsidiaries and Penang
business divisions.
- Monitor and ensure brand compliance among internal and external stakeholders, provide consultation services for them
and colleagues in Asia Pacific, updating of brand space look and feel, and perform training for brand awareness.
- Creative and able to visualise the look and feel of communications materials needed in the promotion of activities and
events.
Corporate Events and CSR
- Organize or support corporate events and activities related to the execution of the employee engagement and external
communications strategies.
- Develop, plan and execute CSR initiatives that fall under the pillars of the Group.
- Assist the Head of Department with Corporate Communications activities in Penang and the Asia Pacific region.
- Provide advice, guidance and recommendations to other divisions or departments in their events planning, programme
and protocol, and maintain an internal database of reliable suppliers that the department can work with to achieve quality
deliverables and efficiency in cost.
Visitors Management
- Provide the best solution for scheduling of visits and working with global for consistency and alignment, to update
corporate information for presentation to visitors, doing the presentation, coordinating with plant representatives
whenever necessary, training of ambassadors for plant tours and liaising with external stakeholders once the visit date and
details have been agreed.
- To ensure the adoption and provide consultation services for other manufacturing sites in AP.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate communications and brand management within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Excellent writing skill.
- Experience planning and executing corporate events, leadership visits and stakeholder engagements.
- Demonstrated involvement in CSR or sustainability initiatives, including community partnerships and employee engagement programmes.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, working with senior leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including vendor coordination, communications planning and project execution.
- Experience working in a regional or multinational corporate environment, supporting communications across multiple markets.
- Strong understanding of corporate event protocol, etiquette and formal engagement requirements, including management of leadership visits and VIP stakeholders.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry, with an understanding of compliance and regulatory communication considerations.
