As a Head of Regional SCM & Logistic at B. Braun you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across regions, optimizing supply chain processes and logistics operations. You will also play a crucial role in strategic planning, risk management, and fostering relationships with suppliers and customers to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Your key responsibilities:
- Aggressively pursue strategies for continuous improvement in cost reduction, supply management, material planning and control, and integration of supply chain elements
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the supply chain, follow market conditions and collect vendor intelligence; anticipate market trends and develop strategies.
- Manage entire end to End supply chain process, including Logistics.
- Demand planning, inventory management, factory loading, and distributor management in cooperation with Marketing and Sales and Production departments.
- High level of system integration in delivery, dealer and inventory management with continuous improvement cycles.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 18 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience within the manufacturing environment, ideally in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate aptitude for connecting disparate types of information including planning, procurement, distribution, manufacturing, regulations, product development, and statistical methods.
- Systems thinking/mindset, including the ability to create an understanding of a larger system by examining linkages and interactions between components.
