Your key responsibilities:

 

  • This position belongs to the Management Team Finance, Controlling and IT Asia Pacific contributing to both the strategic positioning within the region and top-level decision-making.
  • The position also includes being responsible for the direction, control and coordination of all Controlling related activities within Asia Pacific and developing the Controlling processes and controlling tools within the Region.
  • Job Function will include Controlling whereby incumbent is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the performance of Asia Pacific and of the divisions in Asia Pacific in his/her area of responsibility, contributing to the company's closing processes and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports, supervising the company's Management Information Systems, ensuring relevant analysis and reports to the Asia Pacific Management Board.
  • He/ She coordinates outlook, forecast and annual target process for Asia Pacific, business reviews across all divisions, development and monitoring of capital expenditure budgeting within his / her responsibility , performing commercial checks on investment requests and monitoring capital investments within his / responsibility, perform feasibility studies for business projects within Asia Pacific and review Business Plans, evaluate reporting consistency of selling organizations with the underlying strategic business area / guidelines and initiate changes where required, liaising with Corporate Functions in order to align local procedures with corporate directions and guidelines.
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

 

 

What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with extensive years of related experience.
  • Solid understanding of controlling processes and principles.
  • Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and variance analysis.
  • Proven experience in a matrix organization.
  • Strong ability to work within a result-oriented organization.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to add value through strategic financial insights and recommendation.
  • Demonstrated business partnering approach.
